Interior Floor Acoustic A1 Composite Insulation Screed

KF-T 0200 DESCRIPTION:

Formulated with pumice, perlite, expanded clay aggregates, and various elements adapted to construction technologies, KF-T 0200 is used in new constructions or existing buildings. It is directly applied to surfaces in both old and new constructions for floor insulation without the need for classic screed, providing insulation and leveling at a low cost. It is a lightweight, environmentally friendly, and superior-quality lightweight composite insulation screed that performs the leveling and insulation of facades, especially providing "sound insulation". It can be preferred in white and gray colors.

USAGE PURPOSE:

  1. Meeting the desired insulation thickness at minimum cost according to heat zones in new constructions or existing buildings based on U-value calculations.
  2. Meeting the renovation needs in existing buildings.
  3. Applicable directly to the internal floors of rough construction phase structures at desired thicknesses.
  4. Eliminating traditional screeds, etc., reducing the load on the building significantly by using a single product, thus minimizing facade costs and increasing work speed.
  5. Does not contain carcinogenic residues that may be released during the application of fiber-based products, ensuring the health of applicators and users.
  6. Despite being extremely lightweight, it can securely hold decorative coatings such as stone, marble, granite, etc., without being affected by the strength weaknesses present in many insulation products.
  7. Easily providing local or general renovations in force majeure situations or similar cases, creating healthy comfort in living spaces with A1 fireproof breathable lightweight and environmentally friendly properties.
  8. Easy and quick application by machine (all types of plaster, screed, or gypsum machines) or by hand, reducing labor costs and increasing work speed.
  9. Easily applicable in a single layer.
  10. Provides high-level safety in green buildings with ecological insulation LEED (green product) certified Thermolock, ensuring environmental health and A1 fire resistance in living spaces.
  11. Aiming to achieve comfort by providing sound insulation in adjacent floors.

IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS FOR CORRECT APPLICATION:

  1. The entire Thermolock package should be used when opened. It should not be mixed with a shovel, trowel, etc., but should be prepared with a mixer or machine.
  2. Never use more water than the specified measure.
  3. The surface to be applied must be solid, clean, dry, and free from dust.
  4. Surfaces heavily exposed to water absorption must be sufficiently dried out, and if there is any water saturation, it should be dried out as much as possible before applying Thermolock.
  5. Avoid using in underfloor heating systems as it may weaken heat transfer.
  6. Weather conditions should be suitable. (+1 / +40 degrees Celsius) The product should not be exposed to sub-zero temperatures during application and for the first seven hours afterwards. Additionally, it should be protected from rain, snow, hail, etc., for one day.
  7. If the prepared mortar has been left in the tank or container for a long time and loses its consistency, never add water again. It can be mixed again with a low-speed mixer to regain consistency.
  8. Thermolock KF-T 0200 A1 Acoustic composite insulation screed provides thermal, sound, and fire insulation but does not provide water insulation.
